3 ½ cups flour
2 ½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 ⅓ cup sugar
⅔ cup shortening
4 eggs
4 tbsp. milk
2 cups bananas
½ cups nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at a time. Then milk. Add dry ingredients. Beat. Add bananas-beat. Fold in nuts. Turn batter into a lightly greased/flour 8 x 4 x 2” pans. Bake at 350° for 60 to 65 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
