1 1/2 c. water
1 T. yeast
1 T. olive oil
2 t. salt
about 3 to 4 c. flour

Combine ingredients to make a soft dough. Let rise till double and punch down and roll into 8 circles. Dry cook on a griddle until just barely cooked. Then grill on a hot grill, brushing with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt.

This is one of our most used recipes. Can add fresh basil and freshly cracked pepper. We have made over a 150 for backyard graduations and different events. The college kids would request the grill bread for team dinners. This recipe freezes really well. Freeze right after dry cooking on the griddle. We have used this grill bread for pizza, or for a pita sandwich.
