Crust
4 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 cup shortening
8-12 tbsp. cold water

Filling
3 lbs. ground shoulder pork steak
1 lb. ground Beef (Chuck or Sirloin)
1/2 cup water
1 large onion, finely diced
1.2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice (per pie)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions:

Crust
Sift flour and salt together. Cut in shortening, add cold water and roll out.

Filling
Mix all together and cook until meat loses pink color. More spices may be added to suit your taste. Put a thin layer of smashed potatoes on top.
Bake in two pie crusts at 400º for 30-45 minutes. These are excellent to serve as a main dish
