4 eggs
1/2 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 C. whole milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Nutmeg - optional
Cinnamon - optional

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly.
Add sugar, salt, and vanilla.
Scald milk and pour slowly over egg mixture.
Stir till thoroughly mixed.
Pour into custard cups, filling 2/3 full.
Sprinkle with Nutmeg or Cinnamon if desired.
Set cups in a pan and pour water around them until the water is level with the custard.
Bake at 325º for 40 minutes or until the knife comes our clean.
Remove from hot water and allow to cool.
