"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
2 bags frozen Southern hash brown potatoes
2 pkgs. kielbasa
2 can cream soup (I used mushroom and onion)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded cheddar cheese
garlic salt
oregano
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut kielbasa into bite-sized pieces. Dump the kielbasa and potatoes into a large crock pot. Mix in soups, 1/4 can water, 3/4 of the cheese (about 1 1/2 c.), and spices to taste. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Cook on high 4 - 6 hours or on low 8 - 10 hours.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This works best if you thaw the potatoes in the refrigerator overnight. If Rita wasn't eating this, I would add red pepper flakes and a little cayenne pepper.
