3 tbsp. butter, melted and cooled
1 cup white Karo syrup
3 large eggs
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 6-oz pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1-2 cups pecans, chopped in big pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly neat together butter, syrup and eggs. Mix together sugar, flour, salt and brown sugar. Mix together lightly the butter and sugar mixtures. Add vanilla. Then add chocolate and pecans.

Bake in 9 1/2-inch deep dish unbaked pie crust at 325º for 1 hour. Center will feel slightly soft to touch. Let cool to room temperature.
