1 unbaked pie crust in a 9" pan
Pie Filling
6-8 large very ripe pears
3/4 cup sugar
3 TBS lemon juice
3 TBS quick cooking Tapioca
Topping:
1 cup oatmeal
1/3 cup brown sugar
6 TBS melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400
Prepare 9"pie plate with one pie crust. Fluting the edges.
Pie Filling:
Peel, Core and slice the pears, Toss with sugar, lemon juice and Tapioca in large bowl until well coated. Pile high in pie crust.
Topping:
Mix together ingredients together in small bowl and sprinkle over top of pie
Bake for 10 minutes. Cover pie with foil. Bake 45 minutes or until pears are tender. Remove foil and bake 5 minutes longer to crisp topping. Cool and refrigerate.
