1/2 kg minced beef or pork
3 eggplants
3 large green peppers
4 onions
1 kg potatoes
1/2 kg tomatoes
2 small beef cubes
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 small can tomato paste
Cooking oil
1 large clove garlic
Cheese
Directions:
Directions:
Slice potatoes and then boil, put aside to cool. Brown the meat in oil with garlic, basil, thyme, oregano. Stir in tomato paste. Spread meat on the bottom of a baking pan. Slice eggplants and shallow fry (layer on). Slice green pepper & shallow fry (layer on). Slice onions & shallow fry (layer on). Layer on the potatoes. Slice uncooked tomatoes and layer on. Grate cheese & sprinkle over top.
