1 pt scalded milk
1/2 C shortening or butter
1/2 C mashed potatoes
1/2 C sugar
2 packages yeast
1/4 C warm water
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
8-10 C flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix milk butter, potatoes, and sugar; let cool. Dissolve yeast in water. Add yeast, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to milk mixture. Add flour. Put in refrigerator. Make into dinner rolls. Let rise in warm place until double. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until nicely browned.
