Vegetable oil spray for misting the pan
Flour for dusting the pan
1 package devil's food cake mix
1 package (1 cup) semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1 package chocolate instant pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly mist a 10-inch tube pan with vegetable oil and flour.

Place two tablespoons f the cake mix, the chocolate chips, and the pecans in a small bowl. Mix and set aside.

Place the cake mix, along with the pudding mix, sour cream, oil, water, eggs, and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Blend with electric mixer for 3 - 4 minutes. Fold in chocolate chip and pecan mix. Blend well and pour into pan.

Bake the cake 50 - 55 minutes until it springs back when lightly pressed with your finger.

Cool for 15 minutes, then invert on serving platter and cool completely.

Frost with Penuche Frosting.
