2 c. rolled oats
1 c. walnuts, toasted
1 t. baking powder
1 1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
2 c. milk
1/3 c. maple syrup
1 lg. egg
3 T. butter, melted
2 t. vanilla
2 bananas, sliced
1 1/2 c. berries (fresh or frozen)

Preheat oven to 375º F. Butter an 8" square baking dish. Combine the oats, half the walnuts, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk together the maple syrup, milk, egg, half the butter, and vanilla. Spread a layer of bananas over bottom of dish. Sprinkle 2/3 of the berries on top. cover with oat mixture, then drizzle milk mixture over the oats. Scatter remaining berries and walnuts on top. Drizzle with remaining butter. Bake 35-45 min. or until top is golden and oats are set. Serves 4-6.
