1 c. buttermilk
1 egg, beaten
1 c. flour
1 c. pecans, finely chopped
1/4 c. sesame seeds
1 Tbs. salt
1 Tbs. paprika
1/8 tsp. pepper
2-3 lb. chickens, cut up
1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F. Mix buttermilk with egg. Stir together flour, ground pecans, sesame seeds, salt, paprika, and pepper. Dip chicken pieces in buttermilk mixture, then in flour mixture to coat evenly. Shake off excess. Pour oil into the bottom of a large, shallow roasting pan. Place chicken pieces in oil skin side down, and then turn over to coat so pieces are skin side up. Place pecan halves on each piece of chicken. Bake for 60-75 minutes. Serves 8.
