Candy:
1 stick butter
1 lb. confectioners sugar
2 tbs. cream
1 tbs. vanilla
food coloring, if desired
1/2 tsp. flavoring, if desired (such as peppermint)

Chocolate Coating:
2 oz. bittersweet chocolate
paraffin

Directions:
Directions:
Candy: Mix butter, sugar, cream and vanilla. Add color and/or flavor before dough gets stiff. Add a little extra sugar if necessary to make sure dough is very stiff. Roll dough into small balls and chill in refrigerator until ready to dip. Chocolate Coating: Melt chocolate in top of double boiler. Add paraffin. Remove chocolate from heat. Roll butter creams in melted chocolate to coat. Place on wax paper to dry. Melt in your mouth!
