Ingredients:	Ingredients: 24 oz. raw peanuts 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. water salt

Directions:	Directions: Preheat oven to 300º F. Combine nuts, sugar and water in large saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until all liquid evaporates. (This takes a long time. Be patient.) Pour mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet and spread out evenly. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove and stir nuts, re-spreading. (I use the back of a large spoon to break up any nuts that are sticking together.) Return to oven and bake an additional 10 minutes. Remove and stir nuts, re-spreading. Bake a final 10 minutes. Allow to cool. Store in an air-tight container. Highly addictive - these don't last long, although they do keep well if stored properly.
