4 oz. Unsweetened Chocolate
2/3 cp Shortening
2 cps Sugar
4 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1 1/4 cps Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 cp Chopped Walnuts

Glossy Chocolate Frosting;

3 T Shortening
3 oz Unsweetened Chocolate
2 cps Confectionary Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
1/3 cp Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Grease 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Melt chocolate and shortening over low heat. Remove from heat. Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake 30 minutes or until they pull away from pan.

Frosting;

Melt shortening and chocolate over low heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth. Place pan in bowl of ice and water. Continue beating until spreading consistency. Sprinkle with 1/2 cp waluts.
