1 pkg. yellow cake mix that calls for 3 eggs

Directions:
Preheat oven according to cake mix directions. Prepare the cake according to package directions, adding 1 cup of the shredded coconut to the batter. Bake in a greased and floured 13 by 9 inch pan. Remove cake from oven and poke holes in the cake with a fork while still hot. Spread the cream of coconut over the top of the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes. Sprinkle 1/4 of the remaining coconut over the cake. Sprinkle on undrained pineapple and allow to cool thoroughly. After cake has cooled, cover with whipped topping and garnish with remaining coconut. Keep refrigerated. This cake is best when made a day before serving.
