3 cubes beef bouillon
1 1/2 cups boiling water
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup cornmeal
2/3 cup brewers yeast
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 egg yolks
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Dissolve beef bouillon in boiling water; set aside.
Grease or lay parchment paper on cookie sheets.
In a large bowl stir together the flour, cornmeal, yeast and garlic. Add yolks. Gradually pour in broth while stirring. Mix to form a firm dough. Roll out on a floured surface to 1/4" thickness. Cut into desired shape. Place 1" apart on cookie sheets and bake 20 minutes in a preheated oven. Then turn oven off and leave cookies inside for at least 3 hours or overnight to harden. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
