8 to 10 cooked beets (can use canned rosebud beets)
1/4 c vinegar
1/2 c sugar
3/4 c water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Slice or cube cooked beets.

In a saucepan, cook sugar, cornstarch, seasonings, add vinegar and water . Stir until smooth. Cook until thick, add beets. Add butter just before serving.
