Salad:
1 gal sliced potatoes
8 slices bacon (cut small and browned)
2 lg onions, finely chopped

Dressing:
2 c sugar
2 c vinegar
8 Tblsp corn starch
2 Tblsp salt
4 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Place whole potatoes with peelings on, in a saucepan. Cover with water 1 inch over potatoes. Boil for 30 min or til tender. Let potatoes cool overnight. Then peel and slice thin.

Fry bacon and drain. Simmer onions in bacon grease while preparing dressing.

Combine ingredients for dressing and bring to a boil. Then pour over potatoes. Add bacon and onions and mix. Serve warm.
