Cake
Melt 2 sticks butter, 1 cup water and 4 Tbsp cocoa and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat.

Add 2 cups sugar, 2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp soda, 1/2 cup milk, 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Mix. Pour onto a lightly greased sheet cake pan or cookie sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes until a knife comes out clean.

Frosting
While the cake is baking, melt 1 stick butter, 6 Tbsp milk and 4 Tbsp cocoa and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat.

Add 3 cups confectioners sugar. Mix. Add 1 cup coconut and 1 cup chopped walnuts if desired. Pour over cake while it is still warm.

The frosting should be liquid but not runny so that it will soak into the cake and become almost like a glaze.
