1 bag hot or mild dried red chile pods
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 cups water
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the chile pods in a deep pan until pods are soft. Strain the pods and put them into a blender. Add garlic and water into the blender. Blend until there is no trace of chile pod skins and color turns orange-red. Optional: add ground beef or stew meat (already browned) after chile is done. Salt to taste.
