Ingredients:
Ingredients:

3 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 3-oz. package cream cheese
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 box powdered sugar
Coffee
Chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate. Cream butter and cream cheese until well blended and fluffy and smooth. Add vanilla. Add melted chocolate alternately with powdered sugar to creamed mixture. Add liquid (milk and coffee) until right consistency to spread. Add chopped pecans on top, if desired.

Note: For more frosting for the cake, I often increase the butter, cream cheese, milk and powdered sugar. This makes for more frosting between the layers.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was Lee and Rob most requested cake from their Granny. She was the ultimate "cake baker" and every cake she made was heavenly. However, this was a favorite and is still requested by Lee III for his birthday cake each year. I would like to think that my cake is "almost as good" as Granny's....but probably not!!
