2 cups cooked rice
3 tablespoons minced onions
3 tablespoons chopped green pepper
2 cups cooked shrimp
1 (8-1/2 oz) can green peas with liquid
Dash of black pepper
Dash of Tabasco sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 package Good Seasons Italian Dressing
3/4-1 cup mayonnaise
Sliced water chestnuts

Topping: 3/4-1 cup herb dressing (Pepperidge Farm)
3 tablespoons melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and spoon into buttered casserole dish. Stir dressing and butter together and sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from over and cover for a few minutes before serving.

This recipe originally came from our Winston-Salem friend and back-door neighbor Mary Ellen Smyth. She got it from her sister Gwen who called it "Happy Accident Shrimp Casserole". It became Lee's favorite dish and he requests it for his birthday dinner each year.
