4 loin pork chops 1 inch thick
1 t salt
1 tart red apple, cored
2 T brown sugar
1 pkg. onion gravy mix
1 C water
1 1/2 t vinegar
2 T raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Season chops w/salt. Brown on both sides in hot skillet. Remove chops from skillet and arrange in a shallow casserole. Slice apple into 1/2 inch rings. Place rings on top of chops. Sprinkle sugar on top. Blend gravy mix into the fat in the skillet. Gradually stir in water. Cook and stir over moderate heat until the mixture comes to a boil. Add vinegar and raisins. Cover casserole and bake in 375º oven for 45 min. or until chops are tender.
