1 package (18 1/4 oz) yellow cake mix
1 package (4-serving size) vanilla instant pudding mix
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup water
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Frosting:
1 package (8oz) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 box (16oz) confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat all ingredients with electric mixer on low speed just until moistened. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Spoon batter into 24 paper-lined muffin cups, filling each cup 2/3 full.

Bake in preheated 350º oven 20 minutes. Frost cupcakes when cooled.

Frosting: Beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla and cloves until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in confectioners sugar until smooth.
