1 cup sugar
3 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup shortening
1 tsp. baking powder
Salt
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 cup seedless raisins
1 cup applesauce
1 tsp. nutmeg
Directions:
Directions:
Pre oven to 375º.

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, beat well. Add applesauce and beat until smooth. Add sifted flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg and dash of salt. Add raisins. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until brown.
