1 doz white eggs ( or the number you wish to dye)
Brown paper like skins from the large Bermuda onion ( you need enough to cover each egg).
1 pkg. cheese cloth or a old white pillow case.
1 pkg. straight pins

Directions:
Directions:
Cut fabric into 6 inch square pieces. 1 piece for each egg. Dampen egg slightly and cover completely with onion skins, then wrap with 6 inch square cheese cloth or fabric, secure with straight pins.
Put wrapped eggs in a 2 1/2 or 3 qt pan, cover with cold water and bring egg to just under a boil, shut off heat and let sit for 20 mins., drain off hot water and cover with cold water! let sit for 10 mins. Drain and unwrap eggs, polish with a soft rag lightly cover with vegetable oil.

Our family always colored eggs together and these eggs would appear with the Easter baskets. These were the bunny eggs.
