1½ pounds shredded cabbage
½ cup carrots
1 teaspoon salt
pepper to taste
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup white vinegar
1 cup whipping cream not whipped - can use fat free half and half

Directions:
Directions:
Place the shredded cabbage and carrots in a large covered bowl. Add salt and pepper and toss. Put in refrigerator for an hour or more. Mix the sugar and vinegar very well. Stir into the cabbage and mix well. Add the cream and stir really well. If using the whipping cream, stir it hard and fast to make it a bit fluffy. Chill well and serve. Will keep for several days in the refrigerator.
