1 c. raisins
2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
3 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Cover and cook raisins and water slowly for 20 minutes. Drain, add water to make 2 c. liquid.

Combine and add sugar, flour and salt to liquid. Pour a little liquid over egg and beat vigorously. Return to pan and boil. Add lemon juice and butter. Add drained raisins. Remove from heat. Cool slightly, pour into baked shell. Serve with whipped cream when cold, Or use 2 egg yolks in filling and use the 2 whites to make a meringue. Bake at 400-425ºF for a few minutes.
