1 egg, lightly beaten
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
2/3 c. spaghetti sauce or ketchup
1 lb. hamburger
1 c. grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Can add garlic, 1 tsp basil, 1/4 tsp. oregano - optional
Directions:
Directions:
Mix egg, bread crumbs, meat and 1/2 of the ketchup. Add 1/2 c. cheese and the seasonings. Pat mixture into pie plate. Bake for 20 minutes at 400-425ºF. Drain juices. Top with rest of cheese and sauce. Bake for another 10-15 minutes.
