1 pkg (50-60) caramels
2/3 c evaporated milk (divided)
1 swiss chocolate cake mix or any other chocolate mix
3/4 c butter or margarine, softened
1 c chopped pecans
2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine caramels and 1/3 cup milk in heavy saucepan or double boiler. Stir until melted. Combine cake mix, remaining 1/3 cup evaporated milk and butter. Mix until mixture holds together.

Press half the cake mixture in greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake in a preheated 350º for 8 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts evenly on top. Pour melted caramels over. Drop spoonfuls of remaining cake mixture as evenly as possible on top.

Bake for approximately15 minutes more or until done. Cool slightly and cut into squares.
