1 pineapple, peeled
2 ripe mangoes, peeled
3 cups sugar
1 tablespoon grated ginger
2 cinnamon sticks, broken into small pieces
Dash of vanilla essence
Dash of grated nutmeg
1 to 2 cups water
Breadcrumbs, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream (for garnishing)
(If you like less sauce, use less water)

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, over medium to high heat, add all the above ingredients.
Cook until mixture is a bit sticky (it takes about 15 to 20 minutes).
Cool and serve.
Add breadcrumbs, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream and serve.
Can also be used as a garnish with cakes or pies.
Can be stored in a jam jar.
