1 lb flank steak, sliced THIN
3 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp sherry or your favorite red wine
1 tsp sugar
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 slice of ginger
5 Tbsp peanut oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 lb fresh broccoli
1/2 C beef broth

Directions:
Directions:
Marinate thinly sliced meat in soy sauce, cornstarch, sherry, sugar, and garlic. Set aside. Cut broccoli into 1 1/2"x 1/2" pieces. Put 2 Tbsp peanut oil into wok over high heat. Add salt, then broccoli and stir fry until broccoli turns bright green. Remove.
Put remaining 3 Tbsp peanut oil in wok. Add ginger*, then beef and stir fry until almost done. Remove ginger. Add broccoli, then broth. Stir fry until a sauce forms.

*1 Slice of ginger about 1/4" thick - just for flavoring.
