2 cups Cake Flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup unbeaten egg yolks
addition 1/3 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat shortening, 2/3 cup milk and the lemon and vanilla extracts, adding the dry ingredients and beat for 2 minutes.
2. Add 1/3 cup milk and 1/3 cup egg yolks and beat for an additional 2 minutes.
3. Pour into 2 round 8" baking pans or 9" x 13" oblong pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350º F.
