Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 c butter or margarine
1 c brown sugar
1/4 c white corn syrup (Karo)
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
4 quarts (2 batches) popped corn

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a large microwave bowl and cook in microwave for 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Add vanilla and baking soda.

Pour mixture over popped corn and put in a brown paper grocery sack. Shake good and roll top of sack down. Microwave 1 minute, remove bag and shake (or open and stir). Repeat 2 more times. Pour onto cookie sheet or waxed paper and let cool. Separate. Store in an airtight container or plastic bags. If it's not crunchy, the coated popcorn mixture needed to be cooked longer. You can also add nuts (peanuts, cashew, almonds, etc) if desired with the popcorn before coating and microwaving. Makes a lot.
