8 c. mashed potatoes
1/2 c. cream
3/4 c. margarine
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:

Cook potatoes - mash/rice with cream, salt,, sugar & shortening. Cool Well!
Add flour and baking powder. Roll and fry.

Gramma Mary has many receipes for Lefsa but this is "the best". I believe she stole this one from Auntie Vicki!!
Best memory ever was watching Mom and Dad make lefsa together. Mom would roll out the lefsa and Dad had the stick, tapped out the air bubbles and flipped.
