2 c. flour
4 c. oatmeal, or ground up rolled oats
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Measure dry ingredients into bowl and make a well in them.
Melt butter.
Add baking soda to warm water.
Pour melted fat and soda water into dry ingredients.
Stir with a spoon and then mix with hands. Makes a stiff dough.
Roll out, into a rectangle, a piece that you can hold in your hand, on a floured surface to 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into strips. Repeat until all is cut.
Place on cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes at 375ºF.
