Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe for the ever-popular chocolate cookies has been buried in a recipe file box for many years. Although the name Dena Hoover (or perhaps Hooyer) is written on the recipe, no one remembers Dena or the occasion upon which her recipe exchanged hands. On a whim, Dena's cookies were made this past Christmas. They were immediately labeled "kickass." They really are extraordinary.
