Step 1:
1 lb. ground chuck beef
1 med. onion, chopped
2 Tbs. garlic, chopped
2 cans Italian tomato paste
salt, pepper, cumin, and dried basil

Step 2:
1-16 oz. container of ricotta
2 eggs
8 oz. shaved Parmesan cheese (not the green can)
salt, pepper, and dried parsley

Step 3:
8 oz. pkg. shredded, whole-milk mozzarella

Step 4:
2 cans Pillsbury crescent roll dough
sesame seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F.

Brown meat, with onion, & garlic. Drain. Add tomato paste & seasonings. Mix. Set aside.

Mix ricotta, eggs, parmesan, salt, pepper, and parsley. Set aside.

Lay out crescent roll dough on lightly greased sheet pan. Pinch all seams to seal. (important-take your time) Layer down center: meat mixture, cheese mixture, and then mozzarella 2-3 times, ending with shredded mozzarella. Bring dough up over filling from ends first then sides..sealing filling inside and forming a loaf. Pinch closed securely.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 20-30 minutes or until lightly browned.
