"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Personal Notes:
If making syrup (non-alcoholic) add 1 box light brown sugar to initial mixture, and omit final vodka step.

You can add a splash to coffee, add to brownie mix when baking “mocha” brownies, pour it over ice cream or cake, mix it 50/50 with milk or half and half (for a "white russian"), or drink it straight on the rocks. It's really yummy. (warning: it will sneak up on you...it is actually approx. 50% alcohol by volume - much more than store-bought Kahlua) I have one friend that likes to mix some into a container of cool whip and freeze it for an ice cream-like treat. You can also use it as a marinade on a pork tenderloin. The possibilities are endless! Enjoy!
