1 1/2 c. Sugar
1 c. Hot Water
1/8 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1/2 to 1 c. Peanuts
Pinch of Baking Soda
Pinch of Salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, over low heat, stir sugar, water, salt and cream of tartar until dissolved. Cook syrup gently without stirring until it turns a straw color. Add soda, stir. Place nuts in a buttered pan. Pour syrup over the nuts. Cool. Break apart to serve.
