1 Cup of sugar
1 Cup of butter
3 Eggs (separated)
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 and 1/2 Cups of Flour + 2 Tablespoons
1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Allspice
1 Cup Prunes Chopped (plump in water and allow to cool)
1/4 Teaspoon Salt

Frosting
1/3 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cup Walnuts (chopped)
1 Cup Raisins
1/4 Teaspoon Salt

Directions:

Cake
Cream butter and sugar,egg yolks,and sour cream. Add sifted flour, spices, and salt. Fold prunes into batter. Beat egg whites until foamy and add baking soda. Continue to beat eggs whites until they form stiff peaks and fold into batter. Pour batter into a greased and floured cake pan and bake at 350º for 45-50 minutes.

Frosting
Heat ingredients bringing to a boil until stiff. (3 to 5 Minutes) Remove from heat and add 1 Teaspoon Vanilla. Beat until cool. (put your pan in bowl or sink of cool water to lower temperature quicker) Spread

This cake sounds bad, because of the prunes.. however it one of my most favorite.
