1 gallon dandelion blossoms picked when the sun shines

1 gallon boiling water

rinds of 3 oranges and 1 lemon diced fine

3 pounds sugar

pulp of oranges and lemon

1 box of raisins

1 yeast cake

Directions:
Directions:
Pour one gallon boiling water over one gallon dandelion blossoms picked when the sun shines. Let stand in cool place for three days. Put in porcelain kettle and add rinds of 3 oranges and 1 lemon diced fine. Boil mixture 15 minutes, strain into large crock. Add 3 pounds sugar, pulp of oranges and lemon and one box of raisins. When lukewarm, add 1 yeast cake that has been dissolved in a little water. Allow this to stand for five days in a warm place. Strain again and put into fruit jars. Do not tighten covers at first. In about one week tighten them.
