2 green bell peppers, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
3 cans Van de Camp's Pork and Beans (do not drain)
2 cans dark red kidney beans, drained
1 can northern great white beans or white cannelloni beans, drained
1-2 cans garbanzo beans, drained
4-8 slices of bacon
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 - 1/2 cup brown sugar, depending on how sweet you want them
1-2 T molasses (optional)
2 T apple cider vinegar
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1-2 T mustard

Cook bacon in a frying pan. Remove and set aside to cool. Saute onions in bacon fat. Chop bacon. Add all ingredients to a covered 5 qt pot or crockpot. Cook in the oven at 350 degrees for 1-2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes or alternatively, cook in crockpot on high for first 30 minutes and then on low for 4 hours.

All ingredients can be tweaked for your personal tastes. Cooked link sausage (sliced) can be added in addition to, or in place of bacon.
