1 1/4 c. pre-soaked Navy beans (Never use Air Force beans!)
1 medium onion, chopped
2 medium potatoes, cut into cubes
1 can stewed tomatoes
2 qts. water
1 ham bone or 1 c. chopped ham
Dash of oregano, salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-soak the beans in cold water overnight, or for a full day, then drain. Place all the ingredients in a soup pot and cook at a temperature that is just under a boil until the beans are tender.
