2 1/3 c all-purpose flour (divided)
2 c old fashioned oats
1 c packed brown sugar
1 c (2 sticks) butter melted
2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 ½ c chopped walnuts
1 c (12.25 oz jar) caramel ice cream topping

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 2 cups of flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Stir in butter.

Reserve one cup – press remaining mixture into an ungreased 13X9 inch baking pan. Bake in pre-heated 350 F oven for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with morsels and walnuts.

Combine caramel topping and the remaining 1/3 c flour and drizzle over base. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.

Bake at 350 F for 20 – 30 minutes or until lightly browned.

Cool in pan – slice into bars with a sharp knife.
Makes about 2 ½ dozen bars
