4 TBLS Butter
3/4 Onion (finely chopped)
1/4 Green Onion (finely chopped)
1/2 Cup Celery (finely chopped)
1/2 Cup Green Pepper (finely chopped)
1 TBLS Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp minced Garlic
2 Bay Leaves
1/2 Cup Jack Daniel's Whiskey
1/2 Cup Ketchup
2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
2 Eggs (slightly beaten)
1 Cup very fine dry Bread Crumbs
Additional Jack Daniel's to top meat loaf (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions, celery & peppers in butter until tender. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic & bay leaves. Simmer until liquid evaporates & vegetables start to stick to the bottom of the pan.

Remove from the heat & remove bay leaves. Combine vegetables mixture with whisky, ketchup, meat, eggs & bread crumbs.

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix well by hand, shaping into a loaf about 1 1/2 ' high & 6" wide. Put on ungreased cookie tray & bake 50-60 minutes or until cooked through.

Drizzle top of meat loaf with additional Jack Daniel's whisky before serving if desired.
