Makes 4 servings. Prep Time: 10-15 minutes.

Raisins add a moist, wonderfully chewy texture and a dark rich color to this traditional apple and nut salad, which was originally created at New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in the late 1890s. For variety, try substituting Sun-Maid Fruit Bits or Apricots (diced) for the raisins. One serving of this recipe equals one full serving of fruit. Add more fruit to your diet the Sun-Maid way!
