6 eggs (Save one of the egg whites to make the icing)
6 T oil
6 T milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. orange extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
(or grated rind of orange and lemon)
6 heaping T. sugar
5 c. all-purpose flour
Pinch of salt
3 tsp. baking powder

Icing: 1 box of powdered sugar,1 tsp. lemon extract, egg white and a small amount of milk as needed to make a glaze.

In a bowl combine eggs, oil, milk, and the extracts. Beat well and set aside. In another bowl combine all the dry ingredients. Gradually add dry ingredients to egg mixture until soft dough forms. Turn dough onto a floured board. Take about 1/2 ounce of dough and roll between fingers to form a long piece. Twist into a knot. Bake knots at 375 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
Glaze cookies, then sprinkle with nonpareils.
