1 pt. half and half
1 large can pet or carnation milk
3 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and add to ice cream freezer. Fill the freezer can with milk until full. Freeze according to ice cream freezer instructions.

Dad LOVES homemade vanilla ice cream. He does not believe there is any other flavor. Mom did stop using raw eggs quite a few years ago due to the possibility of food poisoning. She just eliminated the eggs from the above recipe or cooked the beaten eggs slightly with the half and half.
